Locally sources ingredients
The buffalo and cow's milk from our Rozino organic farm reaches you in the most ecological way in the form of gelato. We all know how important is the usage of local products and raw materials for sustainable resource development. Our organic farm is located at the beginning of the Rose Valley in the region between Stara Planina and Sredna Gora, which falls on the territory of the Central Balkan Biosphere Park and in the Natura 2000 protected area. There we produce our milk from Bulgarian Murrah buffalos and from Jersey cows. Because of the high fat content, the milk and the cream of these breeds are considered the best for the production of gelato. The origin of the milk and the cream is very important for the excellent taste of gelato, so we produce them ourselves. In this way we can guarantee the high quality of both the raw materials and the final product.
The best gelato chefs
To achieve the incredible taste and density of the gelato, our team has undergone special training in Bologna, Italy at Carpigiani Gelato University and in Gelato Naturale Academy under the guidance of the world-famous gelato chef Manuele Presenti. In January of 2019, Gelato&Latte's team was accepted into the Associazione Italiana Gelatieri. Our gelato chefs have been awarded with the honorable title "Cavalieri del Gelato" to preserve Italian traditions in the preparation of this world-famous dessert. As we deeply respect the Italian traditions in making of gelato, every year we invite famous gelato and pastry chefs from Italy to share their experience and to reveal the trends in the techniques of gelato making and other sweet temptations.
